Clinical Training at IML on Blue Peel

IML held a clinical training session on Blue Peel, presented by Dr. Daniel Arenas, plastic surgeon. All the IML staff members from the Dermatology, Facial Aesthetic Medicine and Facial Plastic Surgery Units attended the session.

The event was sponsored by IFC (Industrias Farmacéuticas Cantabria) and was aimed at imparting thorough training on the Blue Peel technique developed by Dr. Zein Obagi from Beverly Hills (California).

Blue Peel is indicated for deep photo rejuvenation of skin aged by the sun, as well as treatment of severe acne scars.

The product applied is unbuffered trichloroacetic acid combined with a solution specifically designed by Dr. Z.O., composed of saponins, ionic substances and other active ingredients that assure penetration of the peel to homogeneous and controlled depths.
