The event was aimed at presenting the high-protein diet as an effective and safe tool in the treatment of obese patients with type 2 diabetes.

In her presentation, Dr. Martinez Riquelme defined the "Increased Effect", which combines the proven benefits of a high-protein diet in obese patients with type 2 diabetes and nutritional advice tailor-made for the diabetic patient, based on the recommendations of the Joslin Diabetes Center Guidelines; along with the prescription of certain physical activity, coaching and six specific active micronutrients (chromium, biotin, cultivated American ginseng) included in Diaprokal products.
