IML at the World Congress for Hair Research

IML attended the 7th World Congress for Hair Research, held in Edinburgh on 4-6^th May 2013.

The program focused on the latest research in hair diseases. Physicians of the Dermatology Unit at IML attended the course on Alopecia Diagnosis and Therapy, which dealt with all the diagnostic methodology, including dermatoscopy and anatomopathological patterns.

Approach to the different types of alopecia, especially female androgenetics, and hair ageing linked to non-hormonal origin senescence were two of the most interesting contributions to the Congress.
