IML imparts a workshop for Dermatology residents

Physicians specialists in Dermatology of the IML Dermatology Unit, imparted a workshop on CO₂ laser applications to Dermatology residents, organised by Ducray and held on 29th April 2014.

CO₂ laser can be used in Dermatology as a cutting and coagulation tool for its surgical applications. It can also be used in ablative and fractional subablative mode for integral skin resurfacing and removal of pigmented lesions, xanthelasmata, and rhinophymata, among others.

The workshop dealt with the indications and parameterisation of CO₂ laser in its ablative and semiablative modes.
