Lipotransfer Optimised with Stem Cells

The localised increase in volume by grafting of autologous fat recovers attention within the body remodelling field, thanks to the enrichment with growth factors from the patient, which improves graft survival in the receiving area.

Lipograft results are more predictable, the fat in the abdomen is retrieved as filler material to correct volume deficiencies in buttocks, calves, post-traumatic depressions, low hips, asymmetric areas and even breasts for longer periods.

IML has optimised lipotransfer with stem cells and growth factors from the patient.

Until now:

Traditionally, autologous fat grafts to increase body volumes, have required several sessions and have had a variable effectiveness in their evolution. Insufficient correction by partial or total re-absorption of the transferred fat or over-corrections, were due to the variable response of the neovascularisation necessary for the grafted fat to survive and take hold.

The reservoir of fat material on different depth levels, as well as its enrichment with stem cells increases the vitality of the grafted fat pearls and better colonisation of the blood vessels. All this contributes to the improved survival of the lipograft. The renewed interest of this autologous filler on the part of the international medical community, is due to:

  • The ease of extracting the filler from another part of the body.
  • Obtaining high volumes of material at a lower cost.
  • The simplicity of grafting the fat, without major surgical procedures such as prosthesis implantation.

Lipotransfer

Independently of whether it is combined or not with Lipolaser for the reduction of body volumes. Donor fat should be extracted from the trunk (abdomen, hips), which has the highest percentage of Mesenchymal Stem Cells. The technique, which increases the volume in localised areas such as buttocks or calves, requires prior extraction of two key elements:

  • Fat material for the lipograft.
  • Blood for growth factors extraction.

Abdomen and hip fat contains a higher percentage of mesenchymal stem cells

RESULTS

The inflammatory stage lasts about three days and the results are visible immediately, although stable correction must be assessed at 6 months. The "Latino" rounding of the buttock, enlarging flat buttocks, enlarging calf muscles, as well as correcting previous liposuctions, all achieve natural results in both texture and appearance.

Treatments at IML are personalised according to each patient's characteristics. You can request an informative consultation with one of our medical experts.
