Magical Threads Masterclass

Dr. Almudena Royo attended the Magical Threads (biostimulant threads) Masterclass imparted at the 29^th National Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SEME) Congress, held in Málaga on 20^th-22^nd February 2014.

Biostimulant threads or magical threads are used in treatments to achieve two effects: lift and regeneration.

Implantation of these threads, made of polydioxanone, forms a network of subcutaneous vectors that provide a support structure for flaccid tissues.

This thread structure produces biostimulation which corrects saggy skin in the face, as well as body areas such as inside arm and thigh regions.
