University Specialist in Aesthetic and Functional Gynaecology

Dr. Juan Jose Escribano, head of IML's Cosmetic Gynaecology Unit, participated as academic and lecturer in the University Specialist Course on Aesthetic and Functional Gynaecology and Female Cosmetic Genital Surgery, held at the Institut de Formació Continua- IL3 Barcelona University.

The course, a pioneer undertaking on an international level, includes the participation of physicians with extensive experience in the field of Gynaecology applied to aesthetics and the function of intimate areas. The event was sponsored by entities of international recognition, such as the World Society of Cosmetic Gynaecology, the International Academy of Cosmetic Gynaecology, and the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause and the Spanish Foundation for the Study of Menopause.

The training program covered diagnosis to current advanced preventive and therapeutic procedures, and among others, the implementation of CO₂ laser available at Instituto Medico Laser in Madrid.
